2014年出道的 Valley 樂團，自加拿大多倫多發跡，由四位團員組成：主唱 Rob Laska、吉他手 Michael (Mickey) Brandolino、貝斯手 Alex Dimauro 以及鼓手 Karah James。賈斯珀覺得他們的音樂是一種輕搖滾帶著迷幻感，幾首單曲聽下來都非常入耳，主唱 Rob Laska 與鼓手 Karah James 兩人的男女聲縱橫交錯，也很適合在夏日的星空下聆聽。

2020年釋出的這首〈hiccup〉，音階在進入副歌前，一句一句緩緩上升，堆砌到一個程度後再順勢切入副歌，聽起來非常過癮。hiccup 主要是「打嗝」的意思，但也可意指小差錯、小錯誤等等，歌詞表達錯過與曖昧對象互表心意的時機，只能在事後惋嘆現今兩人的關係什麼也不是。
〈hiccup〉的MV畫面則充斥滑板溜冰場，MV規格也回到當年映像管電視的正方形，甚至還有訊號模糊的馬賽克斷片，讓整支MV有著滿滿的千禧年代懷舊感。
