11月03日凌晨1點，〈Equal In The Darkness〉MV悄悄上傳至Steve Aoki的YouTube頻道。疫情期間三位音樂人大概是分隔臺灣美國兩國拍攝，能完成與歌詞相互呼應，又不會充滿斷片的MV，讓身為Jolin十五年腦粉的賈斯珀感動不已。MV中Jolin等三人深陷玻璃櫥窗，最後擊碎玻璃的畫面，也讓賈斯珀回憶起2006年Jolin的〈唯舞獨尊〉MV，MV中博物館中Jolin飾演的蠟像擺脫束縛舞動四肢，兩支MV有著異曲同工之妙。最後燈光點亮黑暗，佇立著許多不同年齡、性別、膚色的人們，原來在黑暗中我們都是平等的，都只是具有感情的血肉之軀。

繼瑞典DJ Alesso的〈I Wanna Know〉、荷蘭DJ Hardwell的〈We Are One〉，以及今年四月隨著巡演順勢推出、與摩洛哥裔荷蘭籍DJ R3HAB合作的〈Stars Align〉之後(身為Jolin十五年資歷的腦粉賈斯珀之前也有翻譯喔)，臺灣華語流行音樂天后蔡依林Jolin，第四度與世界百大DJ合作單曲！這次帶來的單曲〈Equal In The Darkness 黑暗中皆平等〉是與日裔美籍的DJ青木史帝夫(Steve Aoki)，以及美國歌手MAX攜手合作。
其實早在2021年7月，Jolin出席代言活動時就有透漏新歌正在籌備當中，而賈斯珀也在YouTube搜尋過程中，發現早在8月初時，MAX便偕同Steve Aoki於美國Lollapalooza音樂祭公開演出〈Equal In The Darkness〉 ，還能從背景音效聽到姊的合聲！真的讓賈斯珀不禁咬起手帕，盼了幾個月的新單曲，美國粉絲居然早就聽到了！(但是還是要呼籲一下支持正版啦！)
▲這次Jolin合作的歌手MAX已在美國小有知名度，身材也非同小可，可惜已是有著小孩的幸福人夫，眾姊妹們請節哀
MAX也是賈斯珀追蹤已久的歌手，當初是因為他和知名YouTube歌手Kurt Hugo Schneider與Sam Tsui三人一起翻唱了名曲〈Bang Bang〉，讓賈斯珀注意到MAX的好身材好歌藝。這次Jolin居然會與MAX合作，是賈斯珀從來都沒有預料的組合，非常樂見兩位的跨國合作，也希望疫情過後MAX能跟姊一起同台演出！
▲ MAX在短短48小時內苦練中文歌詞，雖然有些發音咬字還是讓賈斯珀聽得霧煞煞，但是看在身材勇氣可嘉的份上還是給他愛心
